At Brubaker Primers we make cannon friction primers following the methods of Fischer Primers which we purchased in September 2021. The Fischers, being reenactors themselves, developed the most precise methods to produce friction primers and had the best success rate with their primers. It is our goal to maintain that level of quality as we produce friction primers.

We supply Civil War Era reenactors across the country with friction primers. Our primers are 3/16 in diameter and 1.75 inches in length. We sell our primers in packs of 10 so they can be purchased in any multiple of 10 up to 500 per shipment box. Our primers are currently priced at $1.75 each. One of our customers, H. Titus of Ohio, recently stated that in the 4 years he has been purchasing primers from us, he has never had a misfire.
